Baby safety capsules are the safest way for your baby to travel in a motor vehicle. Council has a limited number of baby safety capsules available for hire to Huon Valley residents on a short term (six month maximum) basis. The capsules are suitable for use with a lap-sash or lap-only seat belt in the front or back of most cars with forward-facing seats. They are to be used only in a rearward-facing position for a child weighing up to 9kg and with a length of up to 700mm.WARNING: Child safety capsules are NOT suitable for seating positions where an air bag is fitted.Source: huonvalley.tas.gov.au
